El condensador est\u00e1 formado por dos placas met\u00e1licas separadas por un elemento diel\u00e9ctrico. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando el\ncondensador se conecta a esa fuente externa de voltaje, circula la corriente\nel\u00e9ctrica por \u00e9l y una de las placas se carga positivamente y otra\nnegativamente. El condensador mantiene esa carga de energ\u00eda hasta que se le\nconecte otro elemento que lo descargue, como por ejemplo una resistencia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfPara qu\u00e9 sirve un\ncondensador electrol\u00edtico?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En\nelectr\u00f3nica,<strong> el condensador\nelectrol\u00edtico tiene m\u00faltiples usos. <\/strong>Se utiliza para <strong>modular la se\u00f1al en fuentes de alimentaci\u00f3n. <\/strong>Tambi\u00e9n como <strong>oscilador <\/strong>o <strong>generador de frecuencias. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La\naplicaci\u00f3n t\u00edpica del condensador electrol\u00edtico es<strong> incrementar la potencia el\u00e9ctrica en momentos puntuales<\/strong> que\nnecesitan una fuerte descarga, como ocurre con los flashes de las c\u00e1maras\nfotogr\u00e1ficas. El flash se carga desde la bater\u00eda y cuando se dispara libera\ntoda su energ\u00eda de golpe, consiguiendo ese destello muy luminoso. Este efecto\nde luz no se puede obtener solo con la energ\u00eda de la bater\u00eda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con el <strong>condensador electrol\u00edtico,<\/strong> se libera\nuna gran cantidad de energ\u00eda en muy poco tiempo, algo que no es posible\nutilizando solo con una bater\u00eda como \u00fanica fuente de energ\u00eda. Tambi\u00e9n se\naprovecha esta propiedad para el <strong>arranque\nde motores el\u00e9ctricos<\/strong> que requieren una gran potencia inicial. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actualmente,\nlos condensadores electrol\u00edticos est\u00e1n muy presentes en las empresas que tienen\nun gran consumo el\u00e9ctrico por el uso de motores. Esto se conoce como <strong>energ\u00eda reactiva. <\/strong>Los motores, en el\narranque, demandan una gran cantidad de energ\u00eda de la compa\u00f1\u00eda suministradora. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esos picos\nde potencia son penalizados por las distribuidoras el\u00e9ctricas con tarifas m\u00e1s\naltas. La forma de evitarlos es usar <strong>bater\u00edas\nde condensadores, <\/strong>que tienen esa carga el\u00e9ctrica acumulada y la liberan en\nese momento de mayor demanda energ\u00e9tica que trae consigo el arranque de los\nmotores el\u00e9ctricos. As\u00ed, en lugar de tomar la energ\u00eda de la red el\u00e9ctrica, sale\nde los condensadores. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con ello se\nevita la penalizaci\u00f3n por energ\u00eda reactiva y se consigue un <strong>importante ahorro en la factura de la luz. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tipos de condensadores<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Junto a los <strong>condensadores electrol\u00edticos,<\/strong> tenemos\notro tipo de condensadores de distintos materiales y diferentes cualidades:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Condensadores de\ncer\u00e1mica<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Son\ncondensadores o capacitores muy interesantes porque tienen muy pocas p\u00e9rdidas e\ninductancias par\u00e1sitas gracias a las propiedades de la <strong>cer\u00e1mica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Condensadores de l\u00e1mina\nde pl\u00e1stico<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Est\u00e1n\nformados por l\u00e1minas de <strong>pl\u00e1stico <\/strong>y\nl\u00e1minas met\u00e1licas. Estos condensadores son m\u00e1s grandes que los que est\u00e1n\ncompuestos solo por l\u00e1minas metalizadas. Tienen un mejor aislamiento y una\nmayor capacidad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Condensadores de mica<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Son\ncondensadores formados por hojas de <strong>mica\n<\/strong>y de aluminio que se van alternando. Est\u00e1n protegidos por un elemento de\npl\u00e1stico. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Condensadores de\npoli\u00e9ster <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El elemento\ndiel\u00e9ctrico est\u00e1 hecho de <strong>poli\u00e9ster. <\/strong>Fueron\ncreados para sustituir a los condensadores de papel para poder reducir su\ntama\u00f1o f\u00edsico.
